This guitar was originally owned by Dave Weiner, Steve Vai's rhythm guitarist for over 10 years. Steve Vai signed the guitar on the back of the neck to Dave.

The guitar is completely original. It has been played but is in great condition. There is little fret wear. These guitars do not come up for sale very often on eBay and this is one of the better ones available, plus it is the only way owned by Dave Weiner.

There is a chip in the top of the neck (see photo).

The I in Ibanez on the neck up near the tuners is worn away (see photo).

There is some minor oxidation on the tremolo and on the back plate that attaches the neck to the body (see photo).

There is a tiny scratch on the side of the body, barely noticable (see photo).

Comes with the original case and as you can see there were a couple stickers applied to it.

These came out around 1991. Original Neck Joint, one piece neck, Lo-Pro edge (on all except the very earliest batch) Blue DiMarzios (The Humbuckers are PAF Pros) The graphic is actually a photo print of a piece of Fabric. The Graphic is on the front and the back…. But not the sides!
