1971 SG Deluxe

1971 Gibson SG Pro, made in USA. With a Gibson stamped Bigsby trem.
Guitar does have some scratches, dings and finish checking. One of the
caps on the back of the tuner is missing. There is a chip at the top of
the headstock and the headstock was repaired at one time. It looks to be
an old repair and is nice and strong. It was very well done and looks
professional. The top of the headstock has some clear coat issues from
the repair. Beyond that this is still a nice guitar that was only made
for a couple of years.
Everything is original. The pickups are PAF humbuckers with the T on
each of them.
Neck is straight and the frets do have some visible play wear but they
still have some life left in them. Neck profile is nice and slim. This
is a very nice playing and sounding guitar. Action at the 12th fret is a
little below 1/8". All electronics work and are nice and smooth. Comes
with a non original hardshell case. It is a vintage Ibanez case in
pretty good condition and the guitar fits in it well.
Overall a nice addition to your collection or for everyday use.
